We're building an animated explainer channel. Extreme scenarios, what if topics, and things that are stranger than they should be. The videos are 12 to 25 minutes, fully animated in 2D.
Here's what matters more than anything: personality.
A 2D animated channel without humor, rhythm, and voice is just a Wikipedia article with pictures moving. That's not what we're making. The team has an illustrator and an animator, but if the script doesn't have rhythm and personality, there's nothing they can do. The script is the foundation. Everything else is built on top of it.
We need scripts that make people laugh, think, and keep watching. Every line either moves the story forward or lands a joke. Ideally both.
The narrator is not a host. Not a teacher. He's someone who knows way too much about a terrifying topic and finds it fascinating. He's dry when things are horrible. He's poetic when you don't expect it. He never tries to be funny. He just is.
