YMAP Coordinator - North East (Part Time)

What qualifications are we looking for?

At YMCA Calgary we strive to ensure our employees are a fit based on their strengths, interests, and future goals. The successful candidate will have the following;
· Post-secondary education in Social Sciences, Human Services, Education, Social Work or Humanities;
· Experience and/or desire to work with newcomer youth;
· Experience in leading and running groups, particularly around topics such as leadership, philanthropy and job-searching skills;
· Initiative and a strong work ethic;
· Strong team-work skills as well as the ability to work independently and with low supervision;
· Critical-thinking skills;
· Administrative experience and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel;
· Reliable transportation (mileage is reimbursed);
