YMAP Coordinator - North Central (Part Time)

What qualifications are we looking for?

At YMCA Calgary we strive to ensure our employees are a fit based on their strengths, interests, and future goals. The successful candidate will have the following;
· Post-secondary education in Social Sciences, Human Services, Education, Social Work or Humanities

· Experience and/or desire to work with newcomer youth.

· Experience in leading and running groups, particularly around topics such as leadership, philanthropy and job-searching skills.

· Initiative and a strong work ethic

· Strong team-work skills as well as the ability to work independently and with low supervision.

· Critical thinking skills

· Administrative experience and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

· Reliable transportation (mileage is reimbursed)

· Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification
