Year 2/6 SEND Teaching Assistant

SEND Teaching Assistant Required – Stockton-on-Tees 

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis within a primary school in Stockton-on-Tees.

This rewarding role will involve supporting two pupils across the school day:

Mornings: Providing 1:1 support for a non-verbal Year 6 pupil, helping them access learning and engage positively within the classroom environment.

Afternoons: Supporting a Year 2 pupil who is working at an Early Years level, delivering tailored support to aid their learning and development.

Essential Requirements:
• Experience working with children with SEND needs
• A good understanding of the Primary Curriculum
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
