About the role

justteachers are supporting a primary school in Rugby to recruit a Year 2 Class Teacher. This is a full‑time role with a May 2026 start, fixed term until the end of the academic year. The school has strong attainment outcomes and a clear focus on preparing pupils for end of Key Stage assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging KS1 lessons
  • Prepare pupils for KS1 assessments
  • Monitor progress and attainment
  • Work within a supportive team

Pre-requisites

  • Qualified Teaching Status or equivalent
  • Proven experience in Primary Education
  • A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school‑based references
