Year 1 Teacher

Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join primary schools in the Thetford area. You will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons, supporting the transition from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) into Key Stage 1 and fostering a love of learning in your pupils. Beginning ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons across the Year 1 curriculum.
• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those requiring additional support.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and guidance to support achievement.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work, resources, and contribute to school initiatives.
• Engage with parents and carers to support pupils’ learning and wellbeing.
