Role

The role of Yard Technician within the Supply Chain department in Grande Prairie, AB supports logistics and yard operations by performing various manual labour tasks to support the movement of pipe and other materials within the yard according to applicable procedures, complying with defined quality standards. Stock is tracked in an efficient and accurate manner using RFID scanners on handheld devices in conjunction with the Yard Management System (YMS). This position works alongside equipment operators to load pipe onto truck beds according to customer inventory and material order details (i.e. picking slip) as well as to offload incoming inventory from railcars using man baskets and fall protection gear.
