Yard Hands - Whyalla

We are seeking reliable, hardworking Yard Hands to join our busy steel manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and has experience handling steel products.
You will be working in a steel yard, assisting with cutting, preparation, and movement of steel products. Experience with oxy cutting is highly regarded, as this will form a key part of the role.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Oxy cutting large scrap steel into manageable sizes
• Sorting and separating scrap materials (steel, metals, general waste)
• Assisting with unloading incoming scrap deliveries
• General yard clean-up and housekeeping
• Working alongside machine operators (excavators, loaders, forklifts)
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently
