Role:
- Hybrid & Electric Vehicle Battery Management System Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Understand electrical architecture of HEV/EV
- Define HEV/EV Battery Management System architecture
- Conceptualization, Design and Development of x EV Lithium-Ion Battery Pack Controls
- Requirement engineering of BMS with Fu Sa compliance
- BMS Function architecture & control algorithm creation such as SOC, SOH, cell balancing, life optimization, safety controls, cell characterization, energy management, thermal management
- Work with x EV system team to identify the BMS electrical interfaces, calibration and testing team to generate battery system DVP
- ISO 26262 compliance for BMS, DFMEA
- Adopt model-based design approach in BMS
- BMS Controls Software Verification and Validation
- Coordination with other design departments suppliers & related agencies for design and development activities
