World Language Teacher - Elementary Spanish

Lexington County School District One (Lexington, SC) seeks to hire multiple World Language Teachers � Elementary School Spanish. Must have U.S. Bachelor's Degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field, or its foreign equivalent. This position also requires a valid South Carolina teaching certificate with appropriate specialization and fluency in Spanish. Duties: (i) teach concepts and skills in comprehension, speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish to elementary school students; (ii) teach appreciation of the countries' culture for assigned elementary school grade level(s) (1-5); and (iii) perform other duties as assigned including tutoring elementary school students, curriculum writing, peer evaluations and/or similar duties. Position may transfer to a different building within the district's metro- statistical area (MSA) to accommodate the business needs of the district.
