Service Engineer

s. This permanent role is based at their Head Office, with responsibilities covering various sites and installations across the UK, primarily in the southeast region

The role:

  • Performing mechanical repairs and maintenance on rotating equipment, including large turbines and a range of pumps.

  • Conducting maintenance on auxiliary and balance of plant (BOP) equipment, such as gearboxes, coolers, conveyors, and valves.

  • Utilizing measuring equipment like micrometers and alignment tooling.

  • Completing workshop and field service activities, including detailed reports on findings, condition assessments, and recommendations.

  • Communicating technical information effectively to peers and customers, both verbally and in writing.

  • Diagnosing mechanical equipment issues within the heavy engineering sectors.
