Job Summary

The Heavy-Duty Mechanic (HDM) is responsible for performing inspections, major and minor repairs, overhauls and servicing on all types of Maintenance of way equipment (Heavy duty equipment).


Working Conditions

  • The role operates either on a 9-days-on, 5-days-off or 8-days-on, 6-days-off rotational schedule away from home
  • Ability to work irregular shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • 90% field environment from a service truck
  • Regular travel up to 90%
  • Willing to travel for work across
  • Company provided accommodations
  • Ability to work full time from a service truck
