Summary

Work and Family Life Specialists (WFLSs) provide one‑on‑one consultation, education, training, and information and referral services to service members and families in support of the Work and Family Life (WFL) Program areas of the Fleet and Family Support Program (FFSP) services. They deliver services through virtual webinars, video, email, phone, and in‑person encounters, including mobile training teams and support aboard Navy ships. Key topics include deployment and mobilization support, ombudsman training, relocation assistance, life skills education, transition assistance, and family employment readiness.

WFLSs collaborate with FFSP stakeholders to plan, schedule, and execute training services, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of educational programs and services to service members and families.
