Responsibilities:
- Custom WordPress theme and plugin development
- Working with PHP, MySQL, and WordPress core architecture
- Modifying and extending existing codebases
- Creating custom post types (CPT), taxonomies, and meta fields
- Developing custom functionality using hooks, filters, and REST API
- Optimizing performance, database queries, and site speed
- Ensuring secure coding practices and WordPress standards compliance
- Troubleshooting bugs and maintaining clean version-controlled code
