WordPress Developer – Pre-Flight Audit + Submit WooCommerce Payment Plugin to

We have a working WooCommerce payment plugin. Classic Checkout is production-stable. WooCommerce Blocks support needs refinement. We used AI in the making of this plugin so need a safety check of AI remnants.
We are hiring a WordPress developer to perform a pre-flight compliance/security pass and then submit the plugin to under our developer account, handling reviewer feedback until approval.
Scope (Pre-Flight + Submit)
Phase 1 — Pre-Flight (fast, targeted pass before submission)

• Licensing + attribution review (we started from a GPL plugin and heavily modified/rebranded it)

• Remove any leftover references to the original plugin/repo (branding, links, slugs, headers)

• Confirm unique plugin identity (slug, textdomain, headers, update behavior)
