We're a small, fast-moving consultancy managing a portfolio of WordPress sites and need a reliable, self-directed developer for ongoing contract work.
The Work
About 90% is routine maintenance across multiple sites, core, plugin, and theme updates, security checks, and spot-checking functionality. The remaining 10% involves active work on a handful of informational sites: new content pages and simple functionality (document downloads, contact/quote request forms). Nothing architecturally complex — but everything needs to run cleanly and stay secure.
What We Need
Solid WordPress fundamentals, you understand what's happening beyond the page builder
Experience managing a multi-site portfolio with competing priorities
Proactive communication, you flag issues before we ask, and you respond promptly
Strategic eye, if you see a best practice we're missing or a quick win, you say so
Fast starter who needs minimal onboarding
