Summary See below for important information regarding this job. Responsibilities Plans, constructs and repairs a variety of supply, shipping, and storage containers and similar items. Selects proper type/grade of wood/wood substitute from a few grades of soft pine, fir, plywood, and masonite. Selects containers, protective devices, cushioning materials, methods, and techniques needed for packing a variety of tools, parts, equipment, and other items. Custom packs various items that cannot be made to fit into containers of standard size. Applies highly detailed knowledge of cleaning, drying, remediation and preservation methods to material. Operates and maintains variety of power tools, hand tools, weight handling equipment, kiln and material handling equipment. Detailed record keeping hand written and on computer systems.
