Wire Operations Specialist

Position Summary

The Wire Operations Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all incoming and outgoing wire transfers. This role ensures compliance with internal controls, Federal Reserve requirements, and established bank procedures. The Specialist will support branch personnel and internal teams by providing research, guidance, and exceptional service related to wire activity, online banking, and electronic banking operations.

Key Responsibilities

Wire Processing & Verification

  • Obtain and review all wire transfer requests from internal banking platforms and the wire transfer system.
  • Confirm proper authorization for all outgoing wire requests.
  • Verify incoming wire transfers for accurate account ownership prior to posting.
