Job Description

The role

includes analysing and sharing key data with senior leaders, the Headteacher and Governors, and modelling high-quality, trauma-informed and appropriate interventions. You will support behaviour, welfare and access to learning for pupils, while also guiding staff in best practice and contributing to the ongoing development and implementation of school policies.

Essential requirements:

  • CPI trained

  • Experience working with a wide range of pupils

  • TIS training (or similar) or strong working knowledge

  • Safeguarding Level 2

  • Strong written English and numeracy skills

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

  • Clear commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare

  • Understanding of the causes of behavioural needs

  • Ability to support and implement effective strategies for pupils with SEMH needs

  • Experience working within an education setting
