Welding Engineer

As a key technical expert within our shipbuilding team, the Welding Engineer brings deep knowledge of fusion joining processes and plays a vital role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and innovation of our welding operations. In this role, you’ll provide subject‑matter expertise, guide Welder Technicians through testing activities, and collaborate closely with production teams to uphold our highest standards of workmanship.

You’ll also lead initiatives to advance welding technologies and introduce new applications that support our evolving design and production needs. Working under the direction of the Lead Welding Engineer or Welding Manager, you will develop and execute welding development plans, conduct weld procedure testing, author weld procedures, and offer hands‑on support to the shop floor.
