This role involves performing basic MIG welding and fabrication work in a metal construction fabrication environment, following blueprints and customer specifications to produce high-quality parts. You will work closely with production supervisors to meet daily and weekly production goals while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform daily MIG welding on steel and metal components, with 3/8-inch material being the most common thickness.
+ Lay consistent, high-quality weld beads on steel and metal parts according to job requirements.
+ Read and interpret blueprints to ensure all parts meet customer specifications and project requirements.
+ Work with production supervisors to understand priorities and help achieve production targets and goals.
