The Opportunity

Responsible for welding and fabricating various heavy equipment and machinery components, skids, piping, mounts, and brackets for power units in a new product area. Responsible for planning and fitting welding wear packages on buckets, and troubleshooting mechanical problems with associated equipment.

The Role

• Weld and fabricate a variety of heavy equipment (e.g., cranes and forklifts) and machinery components.
• Operate manual or semi‑automatic welding equipment.
• Perform welding repairs on equipment as necessary.
• Weld power unit skids and assist technicians with assembly of power units.
• Fabricate brackets, mounts, and piping.
• Weld and repair customer units as required.
• Read and understand production drawings, blueprints, work orders and other written instructions.
• Cleans and performs minor repairs on welding equipment.
