**Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Welders** for projects located in the **Shreveport, LA area** . This is a first & second shift opportunity, and the pay rate is **$40/hour** based on experience **plus $100/day per diem** for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. **Job Scope:**
+ Layout, fit, align, and secure metal parts for assembly
+ Prepare metal surfaces by removing rust, slag, grease, and contaminants
+ Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core, Plasma, Resistance, and Submerged Arc welding
+ Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
+ Bolt, rivet, and assemble structural steel components as required
+ Grind, chip, clean, and finish welds using hand and power tools
