Job Description

The Shop Welder / Fitter is responsible for fabricating, fitting, and welding structural and custom components in a shop environment. This role supports the preparation of fabricated items for industrial job sites and requires strong welding ability, fitting experience, and the independence to work with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to quality.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate components such as handrails, guarding, platforms, stairs, racks, and stainless pipe assemblies.
• Perform SMAW, MIG, and FCAW welding to meet project specifications.
• Grind, cut, fit, and assemble materials accurately.
