Welder / Fabricator

Thrive Trowbridge is working with a client in the Chippenham area who is looking to recruit a Welder / Fabricator on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing

• MIG welding to a high standard, ensuring that products are accurately manufactured in an effective and timely manner
• Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to manufacture parts accurately to tight tolerances
• Fabricating and assembling components as well as cutting, drilling, grinding and preparing materials prior to welding
• Meeting deadlines and targets whilst working to a high standard

What you will need to succeed

• Previous MIG welding experience essential including using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG/MMA)
• Ability to use electrical and manual tools
• Experience in interpreting technical documents and drawings
