This role focuses on welding and fabricating components for wastewater pump systems using MIG welding on mild steel. You will work from blueprints and specifications to fabricate, assemble, and inspect metal parts, ensuring each product meets structural and quality standards in a hands-on shop environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform MIG welding on mild steel components
+ Fabricate parts by cutting, measuring, fitting, and assembling materials
+ Read and interpret blueprints and work orders
+ Operate shop equipment such as saws, grinders, and cutting tools
+ Inspect welds and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
+ Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
