Regular Position – Vehicle Management Agency, Chipman Repair Facility, Department of Transportation and Infrastructure
Who we are
The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure maintains and improves New Brunswick’s public infrastructure, including over 18,000 kilometers of provincial highways and the planning, design, and construction of hospitals, schools, and other government buildings. Our Vehicle Management Agency provides fleet management and vehicle maintenance services to government clients.
What you will do
- Perform various welding, fabrication, and metal cutting duties, including fabrication of new plow truck components.
- Assemble new plow truck units.
- Fabricate inventory items.
- Refurbish fleet components and repair and maintain fleet assets.
Work environment
- Office location: Chipman.
