Purpose

The purpose of a bakery sales assistant is to serve customers, sell bakery products and help keep the shop clean and organized, as well as a friendly and welcoming environment. Making sure customer service and quality is at the forefront of everything we do.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and serve customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Recommend bakery items such as bread, cakes, and pastries.
  • Take customer orders and package products properly.
  • Operate the till/cash register and handle payments.
