Web API Developer

The API Management / Integration Engineer is responsible for the design, development, security, and lifecycle management of APIs using Great Eastern's Axway API Management Platform. The role supports enterprise integration initiatives by enabling secure, scalable, and reusable APIs for internal and external consumers while ensuring compliance with regulatory and security standards.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and publish REST and SOAP APIs using the Axway API Management Platform to support digital and integration initiatives.
• Configure and manage Axway API Gateway, API Manager, API Portal, and API Analytics, ensuring availability, performance, and security.
• Develop and maintain API policies, filters, transformations, routing, and orchestration for API consumption and exposure.
• Implement API security controls, including TLS, HMAC, digital signatures, PKI, encryption, authentication, authorization, and traffic management. ...
