Job Description
This Phlebotomist II position focuses on performing high-quality blood draws and specimen collection while supporting laboratory operations across multiple clinic locations. The role combines hands-on venipuncture and specimen processing with troubleshooting, training, and workflow improvement, ensuring accurate, timely, and compassionate service for patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric.
Responsibilities
+ Perform blood draws using straight needles and butterfly needles, ensuring safe and accurate venipuncture for patients from pediatric through geriatric age groups.
+ Collect blood and other specimens, including urine and fecal samples as required, following established procedures and protocols.
+ Clearly and courteously explain venipuncture and other specimen collection procedures to patients, helping them understand the process and feel at ease.
