Water & Waste Water Technician

My client located in Elk Valley is looking for an experienced Water Technician on 18 month long contract. This will require relocation to Elk Valley for that term.

• Diploma or degree in Engineering or Sciences, or an equivalent combination of training and water treatment experience
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certificate and strong ability to safely handle chemicals and operate equipment for transporting chemicals
• Strong mechanical understanding of process equipment
• Strong digital literacy and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite®; especially Excel
• Previous experience with Programmable Logic Controllers and Human Machine Interface systems is considered an asset
• Level I, II, or III Water or Wastewater Treatment certificate is considered an asset
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
• Site-based, 7/7 schedule, rotating days and nights
