Job Description
Thompson Construction Group is actively seeking Water and Sewer Pipe Layers for crucial infrastructure projects in Calgary. Contribute to land development with team collaboration and hands-on pipe installation.
This role requires at least 2 years of experience in the water and sewer sector. You will work closely with Excavator Operators and other crew members to install graded pipes, manholes, and service pipes. Daily participation in safety meetings and adherence to protocols is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Excavator Operator on grade cutting
• Install graded pipe, manholes, and catch basins
• Fit and install pressure pipes, bends, and valves
• Ensure backfill is done for installed pipes
• Participate in daily safety meetings and reporting incidents
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years in the water and sewer industry
• Reliable transport to work sites
• Ability to work up to 12 hours per day
