Job Title: Wastewater Treatment Plant Field Operator
Location: Rochester, NY
Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $21.00 - $25.00
Work Model: Onsite
Hours: Rotating shift schedule (12-hour shifts)
Responsibilities
+ Conduct sampling and testing of wastewater and document results.
+ Perform routine equipment/system checks to ensure proper operation of pumps, conveyors, blowers, chlorinators, vacuum equipment, and other treatment equipment.
+ Record operational data and maintain accurate logs.
+ Monitor, check, and adjust controls and equipment as needed; assist with troubleshooting and repairs.
+ Perform routine laboratory analysis and interpret results using mathematical calculations.
+ Oversee chemical deliveries/off-loading and support chemical inventory tracking.
+ Maintain equipment and work areas in clean, safe, and operable condition.
