Waste Water Technician

The main objective of this position is to operate, maintain and troubleshoot the de-ionized water and waste water treatment system.

Responsibilities

• Follow all process steps, work instructions, and operational standards to ensure safe and compliant treatment operations.
• Collect water samples and monitor treatment effectiveness to ensure treated water meets disposal requirements.
• Monitor and maintain chemical inventory levels required for treatment processes.
• Inspect and monitor wastewater sumps to prevent overflow and ensure proper operation.
• Operate, monitor, and perform routine maintenance on scrubber systems.
• Perform regeneration of softeners and deionizers and conduct cleaning of RO membranes as scheduled.
• Execute batch treatment processes for concentrated wastewater in accordance with operating procedures.
