Working alongside the Waste Management Instructor, you will assist in supervising prisoner workers, ensuring the safe and efficient collection, segregation, and disposal of waste across the prison estate. You will contribute to the prison’s environmental sustainability targets, including achieving 90% recycling rates, reducing single-use plastics, and supporting net zero ambitions. This role plays a vital part in maintaining a safe, compliant, and sustainable waste management system while providing meaningful, skills-based work opportunities for prisoners.
