Job Description

Primary Duties: 
Procure, store, and issue warehouse parts and equipment for plant use.

Essential Functions:

  • Procure, store, and issue warehouse parts and equipment for plant use.

  • Perform shipping and receiving functions, manages and controls inventories and handling transportation of materials.

  • Determine restocking order points and quantities.

  • Replenish stock. Order supplies to stock warehouse. Secure lowest cost from available suppliers.

  • Compile accurate pricing data. Price and charge stockroom supply requisition to right department.

  • Expedite purchase orders – order follows. Call vendors on critical and past due orders

  • Reconcile discrepancies. Check freight bills and purchase orders for overcharges and shortages.

  • Monitor storekeeper. Ensure supplies are stored in proper place.
