Warehouse Packer

Job Description:

A packer is an individual who is responsible for preparing products for shipment. The job description of a packer includes the following tasks:

• Examining products to ensure that they meet quality standards of the products and ensuring that they have the barcode or reference number correctly.
• Counting and comparing the quantity of items in the system on the computer to secure the number of ordered items are complete before packing.
• Operating packaging equipment such as tape dispensers, cutter knives, bubble wrap and plain wrap.
• Packing of items according to specifications, includes selecting the appropriate packaging materials.
• Attach the precise waybill and seal the parcel for shipping.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
