Our client is recruiting for a Workshop / Warehouse Assistant to join their friendly team in Sheffield.

About the Company
 Our client is a fast-growing manufacturing and mail order/retail company in the automotive exhaust sector. They are based at Sheffield close to Meadowhall and the M1 motorway with a substantial client base, both locally and nationally and a number of high-profile key customers in the automotive industry.

About the role
 As a Workshop / Warehouse Assistant, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Order processing and packing, which includes order picking from the warehouse and packaging of all mail order items for delivery to customers
  • Being responsible for the cleaning, maintenance and upkeep of workshop and warehouse storage areas
  • Using some workshop machinery including polishing and cutting equipment and the lifting of heavy objects. Full training will be given on workshop procedure...
