Job Description
Position Summary:
Responsible for meeting the merchandize and supplies requirements of the Stores to enable them to meet the Company objectives.
Essential Job Functions (listing most important first):
1. Inbound Shipments: Unloads, counts and checks merchandize received from Suppliers. Ensures that merchandize are in good condition, are not expiring or near-expiring. Documents and reports discrepancies noted.
Merchandize Storage: Properly stocks and stores merchandize in defined product locations. Arranges merchandize in accordance with the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) Principle. Cleans storage and work areas. Ensures that merchandize are free from dust, bugs and water damage. Reports to Warehouse Manager any problems on repairs and maintenance.
Distribution: Processes POs (pick and pack) within the allotted time frame. Assists the Driver in the delivery of merchandize to the stores. Provides assistance to Stores in displaying when t...
