VP of Engineering

At FOCUS, we're partnering with a product-driven SaaS company applying AI to healthcare operations, to hire a hands-on VP of Engineering to lead their engineering organization in Colombia.

This role is ideal for a leader with a strong software engineering background who remains closely involved in architecture, engineering standards, and technical decision-making, while leading a product-focused engineering team.

In this role, you would:

• Act as the technical authority for the Medellín-based engineering team, partnering closely with senior engineers on complex technical trade-offs.
• Influence and define software architecture and modern engineering practices across the platform.
• Lead a product engineering team (backend, frontend, QA, cloud) with a strong hands-on and quality-driven approach.
