Position Overview

The Department of Electrical Engineering (ELE) in the College of Engineering at the American University of Sharjah (AUS) invites applications for a Visiting faculty position at the assistant, associate, or full professor level, commencing in Fall 2027. The position is primarily focused on teaching and is a one‑year renewable contract. The position is open to all areas of Electrical Engineering.

Qualifications

Applicants must hold a PhD in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field and be able to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Excellence in teaching and research, along with experience in the American model of higher education, are highly desirable.
