About the Company

Our client is an insurance company. They are looking for a Senior Accountant who will be responsible for overseeing finance automation projects while acting as a key liaison with IT.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Finance automation projects acting as a liaison with IT.
  • Prepare and review the correctness of financial statements.
  • Oversee timely closing of Underwriting systems and Reinsurance system and coordinate closing.
  • Review bank account reconciliations and clearing accounts.
  • Prepare and process monthly and quarterly account reconciliations, adjusting entries to balance sheet and income statement for financial reporting.
  • Prepare monthly overriding and contingency commissions entries.
  • Set up and update Reinsurance system and verify correctness of test results.
  • Assist in monthly/quarterly/annual preparation of financial statements, commentaries and other supporting documents....
