Videojournalist (French Services) (On Site)
Location: Drummondville (Centre-du-Québec region). The role requires full-time on-site presence and a flexible schedule, including irregular hours and weekend work. The position is permanent and full‑time.
Language required: French (reading, speaking and writing – advanced level).
Role
Shoot footage, write copy and produce reports in keeping with corporate standards and policies.
Key Tasks
- Keep up with current events by consulting a variety of sources.
- Cultivate and maintain a network of local contacts.
- Scout locations, set up and operate a light video camera and related equipment. Ensure the highest‑quality audio and visuals.
- Ensure that visual material complies with technical and esthetic requirements for digital distribution.
- Pitch story angles, script and narrate reports, suggest intros and write copy appropriate for each platform.
