Role Summary

We are seeking a
Video Streaming Engineer
to diagnose and resolve a critical live-streaming issue in our
edge-based camera platform
running on
ARM hardware (Rockchip RK3568)
.

Success in this role looks like:

• Browsers receive
  continuous, low-latency video
  (no freezing or frame-by-frame playback)
• Root causes are clearly identified and documented
• The streaming pipeline is stable and optimized for edge constraints

This role supports our broader mission of building
resilient, locally-adapted digital infrastructure for African markets
, where edge computing is essential.

This is a
short, paid debugging engagement ($200 fixed)
with potential for follow-up work.

Responsibilities

• Reproduce and diagnose live video streaming issues across the
  RTSP → AI → WebRTC/MJPEG
  pipeline
• Identify front-end and back-end causes of stream freezing or stall...
