About the Role
We are building a next-generation short-video social app and are looking for a skilled Video Processing Engineer to optimize our video pipeline for performance, quality, and scale. You will help deliver smooth, low-latency video experiences similar to TikTok-style platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize video compression and encoding pipelines
- Reduce latency in video upload, processing, and playback
- Optimize streaming performance (HLS/DASH/WebRTC)
- Improve video quality while minimizing bandwidth and storage costs
- Implement efficient transcoding workflows (e.g., FFmpeg)
- Collaborate with mobile and backend teams on video delivery architecture
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in real-time video systems
