Job Description — Video Editor (20–40 hrs/week)
I'm hiring a video editor who can handle two types of edits:
- Music content (creative/effects-heavy)
- Founder/B2B content (clean, fast, clear)
This role is for someone who can do actual post work on the music side (not just cuts + captions).
Hours 20–40 hours/week
Ongoing freelance/contract role (can grow)
Responsibilities
A) Music Content (artist brand) — priority
Edit short-form content for TikTok / Reels / Shorts, including:
performance clips
song snippets
studio sessions
artist talking videos / rants
promo clips
Required edit work on music content:
doubling/cloning (same person duplicated in frame)
layered comps from multiple takes
masking / rotoscoping for reveals or composites
motion tracking (text/elements attached to movement)
speed ramps / time remapping
stutter cuts / repeat cuts synced to beats
freeze frames + animated punch-ins
text/lyric animation (not def...
