The Opportunity

The Vice President of Merchandising is responsible for the leadership and strategic direction of the Merchandising team. You will work with the Design team to build the product assortment for all Ballard Designs product categories. You must develop and implement strategies that are consistent with brand goals while maximizing sales and margin growth. Also, they must guide the trajectory of new products to achieve newness and sales targets. You will work with our internal Sourcing team to ensure that Ballard quality, packaging and pricing standards are maintained, while always exploring new ideas to keep us at the forefront of design and quality. You will build financial plans, partnering with the Planning team to keep newness, sku count, margins, MOQs, turns and inventory levels on target.
