NVA Canada’s VT Practicum Program offers final-year veterinary technician students the chance to gain real‑world experience in a supportive, dynamic environment.
Work alongside experienced veterinarians and RVTs to develop your clinical skills in patient care, laboratory procedures, anesthesia, surgical assistance, radiology, and more. Enhance your communication abilities with medical teams and clients, preparing you for a successful career as an RVT.
Program Details
- Duration: 2 to 8 weeks, flexible to fit your schedule and career goals.
- Eligibility: Enrolled in an accredited veterinary technician program in Canada and completing your final practicum in your final year.
- Stipend: Eligible students receive a stipend to help with travel expenses, allowing you to focus on learning without financial worries.
