Program Overview

Very busy hospital with a wide range of services including surgeries, dentistry, orthopedics, rehabilitation. 12 DVMs and 6 RVTs on staff.

NVA Canada’s VT Practicum Program offers final‑year veterinary technician students the chance to gain real‑world experience in a supportive, dynamic environment. Work alongside experienced veterinarians and RVTs to develop your clinical skills in patient care, laboratory procedures, anesthesia, surgical assistance, radiology, and more.

Program length ranges from two to eight weeks, fitting your schedule and career goals. Eligible students—those enrolled in an accredited VT program in Canada and completing their final practicum in their final year—can receive a stipend to help with travel expenses.
