**BluePearl Pet Hospital** **is** **seeking** **a knowledgeable and skilled Veterinary Assistant to join their ER department in Monterey, CA!**
**Schedule:** Wednesday - Saturday from 3pm - 1:30am
**Pay** : $21.26 - $31.45/Hr
We strive to provide state-of-the-art services to our patients and clients. We are very proactive in supporting our technician team to advance their careers. We have many specialized technicians in Anesthesia, Internal Medicine, and Emergency/Critical Care. Applicants should have a strong knowledge base, motivation to learn, and ambition to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Our Veterinary Assistants triage emergency cases as they come in and assist DVM with crafting and going overestimates as needed. In addition, they perform diagnostics (radiographs, labwork, etc), setting patients up in ICU or Inpatient ward, discharging patients, and handling client communication.
